The Acts:

Lucy Beaumont
 
Lucy is a hugely talented stand-up, comedy actress and writer from Hull. She stars in and co-wrote the highly-rated sitcom of the fictional view of her marriage to TV’s Jon Richardson Meet The Richardsons (Dave) with Tim Reid, host of Jon & Lucy’s Odd Couples (Channel 4), and also co-wrote the Channel 4 series Hullraisers. She is the writer and star of BBC Radio 4’s To Hull and Back, with Maureen Lipman, and was nominated for the Foster’s Newcomer Award with her debut Edinburgh show, We Can Twerk It Out, for which she was described by Chortle as “irresistibly endearing”. Prior to this, she was the winner of The BBC New Comedy Award and the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer.

Lucy has also appeared on numerous entertainment shows including The Great Celebrity Bake Off (C4), The Jonathan Ross Show (ITV), Would I Lie to You (BBC1), Cats Does Countdown (C4), Sunday Brunch (C4),  The One Show (BBC1), Joe Lycett’s got your back (C4), Artsnight (BBC2), Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier (Dave), Alan Davies’ As Yet Untitled (Dave), Lorraine (ITV), QI (BBC2), Drunk History (Comedy Central), What’s Going to Kill Us (C5), Live At The Electric (BBC Three).

She is a proud daughter of Hull, and fiercely protective of her hometown. Lucy was team captain for the University of Hull team an the University Challenge Christmas Special 2019 (BBC2)

Lucy has performed in various theatre premieres, touring the UK with Hull Truck, York Theatre Royal and West Yorkshire Playhouse. She also has a number of radio credits including being a panellist on The Unbelievable Truth, Dilemma; The Magical Faraway Tree, an Enid Blyton adaptation directed by Johnny Vegas (both BBC Radio 4), History Retweeted and Crush, a 90-minute monologue for which she received a Sony Radio Award.
Tom Taylor
 
Multi-award winning comedian Tom Taylor has received high praise from audiences and critics alike. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he can boast an impressive stock of quirky and very funny, musical one-liners. In 2013 Tom reached the final of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny competition, the following year he was a finalist in the Hobgoblin Comedy Award and in 2015 he took home the award for Comedian of the Year at the inaugural Great Yorkshire Fringe. In 2017, he picked up the Audience Favourite Award at the Musical Comedy Awards and reached the final of English Comedian of the Year in 2018. 
A favourite of live bookers across the UK, Tom has also supported Simon Munnery, John Kearns and Abandoman on tour and performed on Radio 2 and Radio 4 as part of the BBC Radio New Comedy Award. His debut Edinburgh show Tom Taylor is the Indie Feel-Good Hit of the Summer, was one of The Telegraph’s must see shows of 2019 and was described by The Scotsman as “a genuine joy”. In addition to his stand-up talents, Tom is an accomplished actor and writer having written and performed two one-man murder mysteries A Charlie Montague Mystery: The Game’s a Foot, Try the Fish and The Man with the Twisted Hip. Following two sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Tom embarked on a national tour of both shows in autumn 2017. In 2020, Tom also devised, produced and hostedThe Isolation Song Contest, an alternative Eurovision, which featured David Walliams, Mel Giedroyc, Graham Norton, Clare Balding and Sir Cliff Richard, raised over ÂŁ38,000 for charity and won a Chortle Award for lockdown entertainment.

Paul Campbell
 
Paul Campbell is a hilarious bundle of nervous energy whose act is hard to describe, other than to say he's hilarious. He recently debuted his solo show "The Lost Tapes Of Somerfield" about his love (and unhealthy obsession) for the former supermarket chain, and is a regular on the northern comedy circuit.
